19 years ago today, Canada lost comedic legend, John Candy to a massive heart attack.

My father raised me to follow John Candy, John Belushi, Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Steve Martin, Gilda Radner, Leslie Nielsen, Monty Python and all of the comedic men and women of the 70s, 80, and beyond… but John Candy was definitely my favourite.

I plan on paying tribute to the man by watching one of my favourite movies of his, “Planes Trains and Automobiles”…. what’s your favourite John Candy movie? (I think Spaceballs would have to be a close second!)
