Casino Nova Scotia is excited to announce the return of ABBAmania and Night Fever July 19th and 20th in the Schooner Showroom!

This all Canadian cast will be performing live in the Schooner Showroom for two nights only. ABBAmania is a Canadian produced pop rock musical, which takes you back to the disco era of ABBA. The show features nine incredible musicians and singers. Not only do the four performers look exactly like ABBA, but they also sound unbelievably like them. ABBA-Mania perform many of ABBA’s hits, with all the costume changes, choreography, a live band, back-up singers and big studio sound. Don’t miss out on this fantastic tribute to one of the best pop bands in history.

Night Fever is the ultimate tribute to the Bee Gees, featuring a live band (guitar, bass & drums), 2 backup singers and 2 violins. With outstanding vocals and an all-around amazing show, Night Fever performs the Bee Gees hits including: “Night Fever”, “Jive Talking”, “How Deep is Your Love”, “You Should Be Dancing”, and “Staying Alive”.

For five decades – a time span more than any other group in pop history – the Bee Gees outwitted the international music scene with their incredible tenacity to remain current through all the eras of contemporary music. The close high harmonies of brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb made the Bee Gees one of the most impossible attractions to launch a salute to…..until “Night Fever”.

Rick has been a guitarist based in Halifax since the 70′s. As a member of bands like Devotion and The Pepper Tree, he’s also spent years playing the circuits and recording with local artists such as Doug Mallory, Frank McKay, Ken Tobias, and others – and performed with a number of noted Canadian and US acts, like The Doobie Brothers, Dutch Mason, Chuck Berry, Wilson Pickett, Delbert MacClinton, and many more. In Dec 2012 he was diagnosed with stage IV esophageal cancer, an untreatable, terminal cancer. All money raised will be used to support him and his family through this trying time.
